(HQ) Emerging Leaders Cohort Gospel Team Completes “The Meaning of Marriage” Course

By David Baik

As we conclude our journey through “The Meaning of Marriage” study, which took place from August 30 to October 4, 2025, I want to pause with gratitude. Over these weeks, we have explored key themes of marriage and singleness, covenants and commitment, intimacy and hope. Yet what made this study truly meaningful was not only Tim and Kathy Keller’s insights, but the way each person engaged with openness, honesty, and a sincere desire to grow. Our conversations were thoughtful and enriching, and each person’s presence added depth to the whole experience. Together, we encouraged one another and came to see marriage not only as a relationship between two people, but also as a reflection of Christ’s love and the hope of God’s kingdom.

I believe our learning does not end here. It restarts. We leave with fresh vision, deeper understanding, and renewed hope to carry into our marriages, our singleness, and our community life. For this, I am truly thankful, and I deeply appreciate the journey we have shared. Please pray for the ELC Gospel members who are studying their next course, “Counseling,” led by Pastor Greg Lewis and Dr. Paul Chung.
