We thank God for blessing our eleven-week study of John 13–17 this fall. Twelve brothers and sisters from North America and Africa participated, and we grew deeply through listening to God’s Word and to one another. These chapters—often called the theological heart of John’s Gospel—contain the New Testament’s most extensive teaching on the Holy Spirit. We learned that what our Lord Jesus himself said is most essential in following him. Throughout the study, we learned practically what it means to abide in Jesus and to share the intimate relationship with the Father that He desires for us. Each week, we prayed to hear our Lord’s voice, to follow His teaching, and to help others do the same.
