Title (Theme): The Holy Spirit and Salvation
This was the first-ever in-person gathering for the PAC members in Africa.
Following the Africa New Year Leaders Conference, the Pan Africa Cohort had an intensive seminar from Sunday evening, Dec 15, to Tue evening, Dec 17. The seminar included seven sessions, focusing on two main themes: The Holy Spirit and Salvation. Dr. Augustine Suh delivered lectures, followed by Q&A sessions and engaging discussions marked by a prayerful and joyful spirit. Toward the end of the seminar, the cohort members were divided into two groups and crafted a shared statement of faith concerning the Holy Spirit and salvation, summarizing foundational doctrines. The PAC members were equipped with sound doctrines relevant to African ministers who needed training and discernment, especially regarding the identity and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
This was the first-ever in-person gathering for the PAC members. Since January 2024, they have been meeting online biweekly to study essential subjects for messengers and ministry leaders. However, the in-person seminar was crucial to overcoming the limitations of online sessions and achieving the goals of the cohort program. It facilitated lively discussions and effective interactions, allowing participants to ask and answer numerous questions. Moreover, the fellow African pastors enjoyed a genuine fellowship built on sound teachings, prayer, and mutual care. Though this endeavor required more prayers and effort, it was worthwhile and rewarding. The 3-day seminar was abundantly blessed with the presence of the Spirit, equipping and transforming the ministry leaders in Africa. We praise God for continuously raising pastors for Africa and the world.
