Event Category: The Pan-Asian Pastoral Cohort (PAPC)
Location: Online
Theme (Title): “Biblical Greek: Basic & Intermediate Level”
Instructor: Dr. Ezra Cho
Total Participants: 14

The second semester of the PAPC program was held from April 14 to July 7. The course for this semester was titled “Biblical Greek: Basic & Intermediate Level” and was led by Dr. Ezra Cho. The course was composed of seven modules. It aimed to equip the leaders with the ability to study the Scriptures in their original language so that they may grasp the original meaning of the biblical text. This, in turn, would strengthen their ability to conduct accurate exegesis for Bible study, commentary, and Sunday preaching. Through this course, PAPC members gained a foundational understanding of the biblical text in its original form, laying the groundwork for sound biblical interpretation.

The class covered the Biblical Greek alphabet, nouns, adjectives, pronouns, and various verb systems. A total of 14 PAPC members regularly attended the class. The PAPC sessions provided a valuable platform for Asian native leaders to study together, engage in fellowship, and build networks for gospel work in Asia. The PAPC members who participated in the Biblical Greek course are: Dr. Samuel Palaka, Peter, Active, Asem, and James Gin (India); Vincent Lee, Ison Hong, and Ronny (Malaysia); Dr. Mark Hui and Dr. Yowan Nerthigan (Taiwan); Caleb Gangbold, Matthew, and Batah Erdene (Mongol); and Dr. Isaac Suh (Cambodia).

The third semester of PAPC began on July 28 and will consist of seven sessions under the theme “Biblical Doctrine (I)”, which will be led by Dr. Augustine Suh. Looking ahead, preparations are underway to launch the European Pastoral Cohort, scheduled to begin in 2026. We pray that God will bring this work to fruition.
