Women Encouraging Women

Women are pillars of God’s church and kingdom.

STATEMENT ON THE ROLE OF WOMEN:
Women are pillars of God’s church and kingdom.

VISION:
To encourage and edify established and emerging women leaders so they can flourish and effectively participate in the expansion of Christ’s kingdom and the edification of his Church.

OBJECTIVES:
1. Nurture healthy personal growth in Christ through sound Biblical doctrine
2. Nurture Christ-like leadership
3. Develop deep redemptive friendships

WEW TEAM:
Currently, we are blessed to have a group of Christ-centered, seasoned women who have a huge heart of compassion for our UBF women

WEW TRACK/WORKSHOP FORMAT:
- Cohort size: Flexible
- Preparation for meetings may be required and may entail reading a book, watching a video, or answering (reviewing) discussion questions. Specific future topics will be suggested by the women in the cohort. - Flexible length: We have found the sweet spot to be either every other Saturday for 8 weeks or six consecutive weeks.

TARGET GROUP:
Women leaders with solid Bible study who desire to serve Christ’s mission

FACILITATORS:
UBF staff, lay leaders or invited guests
*Any seasoned UBF member who has a passion for women’s ministry and women’s needs is invited to propose a topic and lead a course that will then be vetted by the WEW committee.

WEW Track – Keep your Lamps Burning Brightly (Mt 25: 1-13)

(HQ) Women Encouraging Women New Spring 2025 Track: LET’S PRAY!

LET’S PRAY! Does this sound familiar? Inspired by our own M. Sarah Barry who is known for saying “Let’s pray” at any moment and in the face of any challenge, we would like to encourage women of all ages to join together to simply pray. Each session will begin with a brief excerpt on prayer from the book “A Praying Church” by Paul E. Miller.
