Doctrinal Statement

  • We believe that there is only one living, true God who exists eternally in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and that it is the final authority for faith, practice, and academic discipline.
  • We believe that God created the heavens and the earth and all other things in the universe, that He is the Sovereign Ruler of all things, and that the Sovereign God reveals Himself in creation and in his redemptive work through covenant.
  • We believe that God created humanity in his image, but by voluntary transgression, all humankind was alienated from God, and that all people are now lost under the bondage and power of sin by inheritance from Adam and by individual choice and are inherently in need of salvation found exclusively in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah of the Old Testament, that he is God Incarnate who atoned for our sins through his sacrificial, substitutionary death on the cross, that he was raised from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father, and that he is the only way of salvation from sin and judgment.
  • We believe that God sent his Holy Spirit to empower the Church to carry out Christ’s Great Commission to the ends of the earth.
  • We believe that regeneration is by the work of the Holy Spirit, that it is necessary to enter the kingdom of God, and that we are saved by grace alone, through faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ alone.
  • We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, who is her sole Head, and into which all Christians are baptized, and that as the Messianic community, all people of God are called to participate in the eschatological fellowship and mission.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ will return bodily to this earth in glory to judge the living and the dead and that He will restore everything and reign forever as King in the new heaven and new earth.
